In IPL there are many close matches and there are matches which are one-sided too. In the one sided matches here we list the top 5 wins based on winning runs margin.

  • Mumbai Indians – Win by 146 runs against Delhi Daredevils in 2016. Mumbai score 212/3 vs Delhi score 66 allout in 20 overs. Simmons 66(43), Pollard 63(35), Hardik Pandya 29*(14), Harbhajan Singh (3/22), Karn Sharma (3/11), Malinga(2/5) are the performances worth noting.
  • Royal Challengers Bangalore– Win by 144 runs against Gujarat Lions in 2016. Notable Performances are Devilliers 129*(52), Virat Kohli 109(55). RCB scored 248/3 in 20 Overs and in reply Gujarat Lions scored 104 allout in 18.4 overs.
  • Kolkata Knight Riders win by 140 runs against Royal Challengers Bangalore in the first match of the first season in 2008. Notable performance includes Brendom MCullum 158*(73). KKR scored 222/3 in reply RCB managed to score 82 runs in 15.1 overs loosing all the wickets.
  • Royal Challengers Bangalore again- Win by 138 runs against KXI Punjab in 2015. Mighty Gayle scored 117(57), Devilliers 47(24) brought the score to 226/3 in 20 Overs. In reply Punjab managed to score 88 runs in 13.4 overs loosing all 10 wickets.
  • Royal Challengers Bangalore one more time – Win by 130 runs against Pune warriors. This is the match where Gayle scored a mammoth 175*(66) and Devilliers 31(8) took the total to 263/5 which looks pretty average score in ODI but remember this is T20. Pune managed to play all 20 Overs and got to a score of 133/9 with Steve Smith top scoring 41(31).
  • Bonus- Sunrisers Hyderabad also have a biggest win surprisingly against the mighty Royal Challengers Bangalore. Uppal stadium witnessed a run flow from Warner 100*(55) and Bairstow 114(56) which helped them post a mammoth target of 231/2 in their 20 Overs. RCB failed to chased the target and lost quick wickets to Nabi (4/11) and Sandeep Sharma (3/19) and 3 run outs also did not help them.
