Indian won by an innings and 137 runs in Pune on the 4th day of the match. Indian bowler’s collective effort in 2nd innings got the South African team short of 137 runs to the tally of India’s score.
Earlier Kohli made 254 runs in the first innings before declaring the innings at 601/5 when Jadeja fell short of is hundred at 91 runs. The duo added quick runs and allowed Indian bowlers to get enough time to get the 20 wickets of the South African batsmen.
The only plus for South Africa in this match was their lower order scoring some runs which helped the match dragged to 4th day.
